A major recruitment company needed to change the way it managed holiday pay entitlement following a ruling by the European Courts of Justice.

This involved the central support functions, 3,000 Consultants and a fully managed communication approach to over 150,000 temporary staff.

With a twelve week deadline this provided an interesting and challenging project.


Our solution was to create a bespoke blended training programme that included:

  • A dedicated intranet site with all communication, training documents and supporting PowerPoint screenshows.
  • A full cascade learning solution for Train-the-trainers, Trainers, Super Users and key members of the management team.
  • Purpose built e-Learning courses.
  • Dedicated trained support staff for problem resolution.
  • Hardcopy communication to all end users including quick reference guides and FAQs.
  • A supporting presentation for all new starters.


The net results were a reduction in man-hours to process this entitlement, a reduction in errors and an increase in efficiency.
